Dezhou Builds 100-Billion-Yuan "Northern Bio-Valley"

Recently, the 2025 Dezhou Bio-Industry Roadshow and Investment Conference was held. Dezhou City is focusing on five major fields—bio-manufacturing, biomedicine, bio-agriculture, biomedical engineering, and biomass energy—driving the industry toward high-end, clustered, and international development through clear planning, robust innovation, and practical measures.

Dezhou will systematically establish a bio-industry spatial layout characterized by "one core leading, three poles supporting, and multiple zones collaborating". This means Yucheng City serves as the core, Qihe, Laoling, and Pingyuan act as the three supporting poles, and Tianqu New District, Lingcheng District, Linyi County, among others, function as multiple collaborative zones.

Looking ahead, Dezhou will target cutting-edge tracks such as synthetic biology, gene and cell therapy, and AI drug development. Simultaneously, it will continue to strengthen cluster development, optimize the industrial layout, deepen targeted investment attraction and industrial chain investment promotion, and attract leading head enterprises and major projects, steadfastly advancing toward the goal of building a 100-billion-yuan "Northern Bio-Valley".
