2025 New Energy Battery Industry Development Conference Held in Zaozhuang

Recently, the 2025 New Energy Battery Industry Development Conference, sponsored by the China Machinery Industry Federation, opened in Zaozhuang. At the conference, a research report on the carbon footprint of lithium-ion battery copper foil was released, and Sunwoda introduced its latest solid-state battery product with a polymer electrolyte.

Over the past few years, the government at all levels in Zaozhuang has prioritized the new energy industry as the leading sector for urban transformation and development. Efforts have been made to stabilize the "lithium" market, seize the "hydrogen" market, develop "photovoltaics", and expand "storage". Leading enterprises such as Geely, Sunwoda, Kedali, CALB, and HiTS (Shanghai) Hydrogen Power Technology have been successively brought in to strengthen the industrial chain and cluster, continuously enhancing the scale and capabilities of the new energy sector.

Zaozhuang is actively building a technology innovation system for the new energy industry that is centered on enterprises and market-oriented, while featuring deep industry-university-research integration. The city is striving to transform itself from a "century-old coal city" into "China's famous city for new energy batteries".
