In recent years, focusing on the "6997" modern industrial system, Shandong has implemented 43 provincial-level strategic key projects for standardization. These efforts have concentrated on areas such as high-end equipment manufacturing and new materials to establish a standard system for the entire industrial chain, driving industrial transformation and upgrading through standards.

In the field of high-end equipment manufacturing, Weichai Power has participated in the formulation of national standards such as the Fuel Consumption Limits for Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles, leading technological progress and industrial upgrading within the commercial vehicle industry with advanced standards. This has promoted coordinated development across the upstream and downstream industrial chain, achieving a local matching rate of core components exceeding 50%, and driving the scale of Weifang's power equipment industry to surpass 300 billion yuan.

In agriculture, Zaozhuang, renowned as the hometown of pomegranates in China, has established a full-chain standard system encompassing breeding, sightseeing, sales, and tourism for the pomegranate industry, promoting its high-quality development through standardized practices. Today, pomegranate beverages from Zaozhuang account for over 60% of the domestic market share, establishing themselves as a key pillar industry in the region.
