Recently, the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government held a regular policy briefing to interpret the Several Measures on Further Stabilizing Employment issued by Shandong Province.
The new Several Measures on Further Stabilizing Employment puts forward 13 specific policy measures, enhancing policy support from four aspects, including assisting enterprises to stabilize jobs, helping key groups with employment, stabilizing job matching through skills training, and optimizing services to stabilize the employment market.
Specifically, Shandong Province has launched four policies to assist enterprises in stabilizing employment positions. For instance, the policy of subsidizing individual contributions to social insurance in key industries is implemented. For key groups employed in micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises in key manufacturing and urgently needed life-service industries, if they sign labor contracts for more than 1 year and pay social insurance premiums as required, a subsidy of 25% of the individual contribution amount will be given.
