The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was recently held in Beijing. During this year's CIFTIS, 65 enterprises participated in the prominent exhibition areas of Shandong and Qingdao, achieving signed intended transaction amounts exceeding 10 million US dollars.
Statistics indicate that in the first half of 2025, Shandong's service trade imports and exports totaled 16.11 billion US dollars, marking a 12.1% year-on-year increase and continuing a trend of rapid growth. Shandong showcased its vitality in innovation and development within the service trade sector to the global audience through the fair.
An official from the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province stated that the next steps involve issuing an implementation plan aimed at the high-quality development of service and digital trade, strategically positioning the province for transformative growth in this area. Additionally, efforts will persist in organizing enterprises to engage in service and digital trade collaboration activities in key markets, thereby expediting the process of expanding Shandong's service trade globally.
