Recently, Shandong Province issued the third batch of policies supporting the cultural and tourism industry. It rolled out the Work Plan on Further Expanding Cultural and Tourism Consumption, encompassing 20 specific measures across four aspects for deploying consumption promotion efforts from multiple angles.
These measures include encouraging localities to effectively leverage characteristic agricultural resources to develop new formats for rural sightseeing and farming experience; supporting relevant enterprises in developing industrial tourism and cultural creative products to enrich product portfolios; and integrating sports events into scenic areas to promote trendy sports like pickleball.
Regarding the coordination model of the "ticket-stub economy", the Work Plan has proposed the implementation of preferential incentives for "transportation tickets + culture and tourism". With tickets for the "Qilu No. 1" and "Peninsula No. 1" trains or ferries, tourists can enjoy discounts on attractions and accommodations along the route.
Furthermore, the Work Plan emphasizes accelerating the development of low-altitude tourism and expanding aerial sightseeing, aerial sports, and other characteristic business formats.
