National Pilot Project: Weifang Selected!

Recently, at the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025, the National Data Bureau announced the second batch of 25 local data infrastructure pilot projects across the country. Weifang's "Data Chain and Smart Manufacturing" regional data infrastructure project was successfully selected (only Weifang and Jinan in Shandong Province made the list).

The "Data Chain and Smart Manufacturing" project aims to create a series of innovative integration solutions for data infrastructure through pilot tasks. It will support a number of replicable and scalable applications in key sectors. Upon implementation, the project is expected to connect over 1,000 entities utilizing data circulation, support cross-regional and cross-industry data usage in more than five key industries, release no less than 2,000 data products, and create over 30 exemplary application scenarios that are both impactful and widely applicable, thereby empowering industrial economic development.
