Shandong Accelerates Intelligent Construction and Cultivates New Quality Productive Forces in the Industry

Recently, multiple departments in Shandong Province jointly issued the Several Opinions on Accelerating Intelligent Construction and Cultivating New Quality Productive Forces in the Construction Industry.

To vigorously promote intelligent construction, the document proposes establishing modern industrial clusters for intelligent construction in the province, breaking away from traditional fragmented industrial development models and cultivation pathways. The initiative will integrate intelligent construction industries into regional industrial development planning and create specialized agglomeration zones for digital design, intelligent construction equipment and machinery, and intelligent manufacturing.

Simultaneously, market-oriented funding support will be enhanced, with priority given to high-quality projects in digital design and intelligent construction equipment R&D within these specialized agglomeration zones. The province will provide support through the provincial Fund for the Replacement of Old Growth Drivers with New Ones following market-based principles, thus achieving dual empowerment through "spatial clustering and capital allocation."
