Shandong Publishes the Proposed List for Supporting the Second Batch of Key Marine Service Industry Projects

Recently, the public announcement period for the Proposed List for Supporting the Second Batch of Key Marine Service Industry Projects in Shandong Province for 2025 has concluded. The list incorporated 34 projects, including the Shandong Marine Science and Technology Achievement Transfer and Transformation Platform Service Efficiency Improvement Project submitted by Shandong Ocean High-Tech Development Co., Ltd., and the Key Technology Research and Capacity Enhancement Project for Operation and Maintenance of Large-Scale Seawater Desalination Engineering submitted by Shandong Lubei Bishuiyuan Seawater Desalination Co., Ltd. After the public announcement stage, these projects will primarily receive fixed-amount subsidies, with a maximum subsidy amount of 5 million yuan per project in principle.

The marine service industry serves as a vital engine driving the growth of Shandong's marine economy. In the next step, Shandong will promote the extension of the province's productive marine service industry toward specialization and the high-end value chain, while transforming the life-related marine service industry toward refinement and high quality, thereby accelerating the development of new quality productive forces within the province's marine service sector.
