Recently, the Information Office of the Jining Municipal People's Government hosted a press conference under the theme "Shandong's Renowned Brands in the Industrial Chain" – emphasizing Jining's commitment to forming a 100-billion-yuan food industry cluster.

Jining, endowed with abundant agricultural resources, boasts a solid foundation in the food processing industry. Subfields such as bioproducts and condiments, grain and oil processing, and meat and poultry processing hold leading positions province-wide.

This year, Jining has actively advanced industrial and value chain development with concerted efforts toward policy support, enterprise incubation, project construction, and technological empowerment, aiming to establish a comprehensive modern food industry system. Currently, Jining City's food industry chain includes 270 enterprises above the designated size, 54 specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises at the provincial level or higher, and 6 recognized provincial gazelle enterprises.
