Booming Circular Economy of Idle Products in Zaozhuang City

In recent years, Zaozhuang City has actively integrated into the construction of Shandong Province's pilot zones for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. The city has innovatively explored and established an international hub for the circulation of idle products, fostering and expanding the circulation industry of second-hand goods such as automobiles, books, luxury items, clothing, and furniture.

The city has attracted more than 600 enterprises on the industry chain for agglomerated development, with an annual transaction volume exceeding 24 billion yuan, forming a unique "Zaozhuang experience" and "Zaozhuang model."

Zaozhuang will continuously explore the potential for the development of the circular economy industry, fully support and promote the China (Zaozhuang) International Industrial Park for Circular Digital Economy of Idle Products, the Zhong'an Used Motor Vehicle Trading Market, and the Zaozhuang Auto Circular Comprehensive Service Industrial Park, among others. This aims to promote the deep integration of the idle goods circular economy with the city's advantageous and specialized industries, and to build a "4+N" industrial development pattern characterized by "four-core guidance, multi-point support, and full-area linkage."
