Shandong Emphasizes Market Demand to Accelerate the Cultivation of Digital Talent

In recent years, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Shandong Province has proactively addressed the development needs of digital talent in response to the rapid expansion of digital professions and talent in Shandong Province. They have accelerated the enhancement of the professional title evaluation system, initiated evaluations for new professional titles in digital technology, and guided various types of talent to converge in the digital industry.

Focusing on such fields as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, smart cities, network security engineering, industrial internet, Internet of Things, and quantum communication, which are central to digital economy applications, it has established 12 new professional title majors in the digital area. Additionally, it has leveraged the characteristic professional title system of development zones to broaden the evaluation scope. Currently, over 42,000 individuals have been granted relevant professional titles.

Moving forward, Shandong will persist in exploring the addition of new professional title majors or evaluation categories in the digital economy, progressively formulating a scientific system for digital technology professional titles.
