Since the beginning of this year, Jining has upheld the focus on a real economy foundation and a manufacturing industry-oriented approach, adopting the "chain chief system" as a pivotal initiative to advance the "top priority initiative" of the industrial economy.

At present, the specialized equipment sector features an iconic industrial chain comprising six sub-industries: mining machinery, agricultural machinery, industrial machine tools, new energy ships, tires, and specialized equipment. The new energy ship industrial chain currently hosts four enterprises of above designated size, with primary products including inland waterway vessels, high-end yachts, cruise ships, and specialized ships.

This industrial chain centers around Shandong Xinneng Shipbuilding as the "chain chief," guiding and encouraging related enterprises to engage in specialized supporting production, enhancing the industrial chain support system, and reinforcing the supply chain synergy effects. Through adhering to the principles of "intelligent and green shipbuilding" and "manufacturing intelligent and eco-friendly ships," the country's first standardized inland river new energy ship production base has been established. This base serves as an important strategic backup facility and stands as a leading indicator in the field of inland waterway new energy vessels.
