The 2025 Fortune Global 500 list has recently been announced. Five enterprises from Shandong Province, namely Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co., Ltd., Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd., Shandong Hi-Speed Group Co., Ltd., and Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd., have made the list, increasing by one company compared to the previous year. China has a total of 130 companies on the list, ranking second globally in the number of companies listed.
Of the five companies listed, Shandong Energy ranked 82nd with an operating revenue of 120.426 billion US dollars in 2024, making its fourth consecutive year in the top 100 of the Fortune Global 500. Weiqiao Pioneering secured the 166th position, up by 9 places compared to last year and maintaining its presence on the list for 14 consecutive years. Haier Smart Home ranked 390th, Shandong Hi-Speed ranked 401st, and Shandong Gold debuted on the list at the 465th position.
