Caoxian County, Heze, Shandong Attracts 2.6 Billion Yuan with the Pet Economy

Caoxian County has achieved a sustained traffic success through Hanfu. Nowadays, a pet economy industry chain covering areas such as pet food, supplies, and clothing has become a new engine driving local economic growth.

Data shows that in 2024, there were more than 100 industrial enterprises in the pet home sector in Caoxian County, with a total output value reaching 1.77 billion yuan. Over 500 products related to pet housing, health care, and emotional companionship were exported to more than 20 countries and regions, including Europe, the U.S., and Southeast Asia. In the pet food sector, a group of companies such as Kitchen Flavor, PETIDEAL, and PETSENSE have formed an industrial scale effect.

Focusing on full-chain connectivity, Caoxian County plans to establish a standardized pet breeding and trading market upstream and promote intelligent manufacturing transformation and upgrading midstream. At the same time, it will empower traditional industries with technological innovation, guide OEM enterprises to increase R&D investment, and cultivate a number of local brands with market influence.
