Witnessing Shandong's Wisdom at the CISCE: The Innovative Model of the Yum China Three-in-One Industrial Zone Creates a New Growth Driver for the Industrial Chain

A few days ago, the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Beijing. As the guest province of honor of this year's CISCE, Shandong Province, through its "Link in Shandong" exhibition, connects emerging industrial formats and fosters coordinated development of the innovation chain, industrial chain, and value chain. The event attracted representatives of over 100 industrial and commercial institutions and enterprises from various countries and regions, including Thailand, Mexico, the UK, and Canada.

At the Shandong Province exhibition area, Yum China, a globally renowned catering giant, partnered with its supply chain partners to showcase its three-in-one industrial zone model based in Jinan. In this model, industrial zones are regarded as hubs to establish a robust network influencing terminal stores in the region, pushing efficiency limits by reducing distances and streamlining business processes. Regarding production scheduling and inventory management, the Just-in-Time management philosophy is adopted to achieve an accurate alignment between production planning and market demand, significantly enhancing the supply chain's overall resilience and response speed.
