Recently, the Certificate of Origin Review and Issuance Center of the China-ROK Free Trade Zone Local Economic Cooperation Demonstration Area was officially put into operation at Weihai Wisdom Valley Industrial Park. This marks China's first specialized certificate of origin review and issuance center dedicated to serving China-ROK economic and trade cooperation.

The center was jointly established by Qingdao Customs and the Administrative Committee of Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone. It will provide government services for export enterprises to the ROK engaged in emerging sectors, such as market procurement and cross-border e-commerce. These services include origin determination, electronic origin review, and certificate issuance. Additionally, it offers enterprise-oriented preliminary services like tariff policy consultation and origin pre-review, while providing technical support on tariff concessions and rules of origin.
