Shandong: Encourage Cities to Develop Robotics Based on Local Conditions

Shandong Province will promote the aggregation of resource and innovation elements to develop four centers for robotics development. Specifically, Jinan will focus on heavy-duty industrial robots, specialized robots designed to work under high temperature and strong impact conditions, and integrated drive-control chips and controllers. Qingdao will concentrate on specialized robots for marine engineering, specialized robots for new energy scenarios, and intelligent healthcare service robots. Zibo will emphasize collaborative robots in high-precision arc welding, specialized robots for early warning detection in mining scenarios, and robot-specific planetary reducers. Jining will focus on machine vision systems and intelligent controllers.

At the same time, Shandong will encourage other cities to develop distinctive robotics industries based on their local conditions. Zaozhuang will focus on home-made high-performance harmonic reducers. Yantai will develop multi-joint robots, collaborative robots in policing, and intelligent controllers. Weifang will concentrate on automotive, agricultural, and logistics service robots. Tai'an will develop brain-computer interfaces and rehabilitation equipment for medical robots. Weihai will focus on minimally invasive medical robots and marine exploration and mining robots. Rizhao will develop collaborative and educational robots. Linyi will emphasize heavy-duty industrial robots, multi-joint robots, and business service robots. Binzhou will focus on home-made sandblasting and spray-painting robots.
