The Sixth Qingdao Multinationals Summit Scheduled for June 18 to 20

The Sixth Qingdao Multinationals Summit will be held in Qingdao from June 18 to 20. With the theme of "Multinationals and China: Connecting the World for Win-Win Cooperation", this summit will establish a high-end exchange platform for multinationals regarding policy dialogue, industry matchmaking, and project cooperation. It is learned that this summit will feature an opening ceremony and forum on the high-quality development of multinationals, three main events, and "N" parallel sessions covering four major segments. It will include both closed-door meetings focused on interpreting China's policies and parallel forums aimed at seeking open cooperation. The summit will also release the Multinationals in China series of research reports. To date, 471 guests from multinationals have confirmed attendance, including 342 overseas attendees and 129 domestic participants. Among them, 102 are first-time attendees, accounting for 22% of the total. Geographically, companies registered for participation come from 43 countries (regions) across six continents, with emerging market enterprises representing over 50%.

In terms of content, this summit emphasizes a balanced focus on both investment and trade. Regarding investment attraction, it centers on upgrading traditional industries, strengthening the competitive edges of advantageous industries, clustering emerging industrial chains, and gaining first-mover advantages in future industries. Targeted investment matchmaking events will be organized to expand new horizons for industrial cooperation. For foreign trade, the summit prioritizes tapping into emerging markets like South America, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Russia while broadening practical cooperation in service trade, digital trade, and cross-border e-commerce. Furthermore, a diverse range of economic and trade exchange activities will be arranged to fully unleash collaborative potential and share the summit's benefits.
