Liaocheng, Shandong: Pioneering Green Innovation and Industrial Chain Synergy

Renowned as Water City in the north of the Yangtze River, Liaocheng thrives along the rushing Yellow River and the millennia-old Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, whose waters have nourished centuries of prosperity in this city.

In recent years, leveraging the Luxi (Western Shandong) International Land Port, Liaocheng has advanced the integrated development of inland ports + bonded logistics centers. This initiative strengthens logistics corridors radiating across the Yellow River basin and connecting globally, positioning the city as a new hub for international openness.

As one of China's top five bearing industry clusters, Liaocheng pursues a differentiated strategy for industrial growth: Yandian Town, Linqing, specializes in finished bearing manufacturing, hosting the nation's largest bearing trade market; Qingshui Town, Guanxian County, has emerged as a forging hub with an annual output exceeding 500,000 tons; Zhengjia Town, Dongchangfu District, dominates the bearing cage niche, selling 12 billion units annually; and Dong'e County specializes in rolling element production, supplying over 70% of the domestic market as Asia's largest steel ball manufacturing hub. Recognized as one of the Top 10 industrial "geese formation" clusters in Shandong Province, Liaocheng's bearing industry is now accelerating toward an industrial cluster valued at RMB 100 billion.
