Recently, the State Council Information Office held a regular briefing on the State Council's policies to introduce measures for deepening reform and innovation in national-level economic and technological development zones.
Business and investment attraction is a core function and responsibility of national-level economic and technological development zones. Under the "Invest in China" brand, the Ministry of Commerce is actively developing a sub-brand called "Choose Economic and Technological Development Zones". At the same time, it is promoting international cooperation in national-level economic and technological development zones and has jointly established a number of cooperative industrial parks with relevant countries, such as the China-Germany (Taicang, Jiangsu) and China-Germany (Qingdao) industrial parks.
In the business and investment attraction delegation to Japan, representatives from the economic and technological development zones of Dalian and Qingdao were invited to join the Ministry of Commerce's business and investment attraction delegation. While in Japan, they actively promoted projects in fields such as marine equipment, semiconductors, industrial robotics, and the digital economy, and engaged in discussions with Japanese enterprises.
