Shandong Issues Newly Revised Measures for Enterprise Environmental Credit Evaluation

Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shandong Province and the Shandong Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the newly revised Measures for Enterprise Environmental Credit Evaluation in Shandong Province to further optimize the enterprise environmental credit evaluation work in Shandong Province.

● For green label enterprises: Give them priority recommendation under the same conditions during the allocation of fiscal funds or inclusion in the financial project database, and include them in the positive list of supervision and law enforcement.

● For blue label enterprises: Strengthen legal publicity, expand the scope of blue label enterprises, and provide them with greater margins for error tolerance and correction.

● For yellow label enterprises: Strengthen daily supervision and management.

● For red label enterprises: Strengthen daily supervision and management, and impose appropriate restrictions on obtaining special ecological environment funds or other ecological environment subsidies.

By standardizing the management of enterprise ecological environment credit evaluations and implementing classified supervision and legal rewards and penalties based on evaluation results, it is possible to strengthen enterprises' fulfillment of their corporate responsibility for ecological environment protection, enhance the regulatory capability and level in the ecological environment sector, continuously improve the ecological environment quality, and help optimize the business environment for enterprises.
