The Modern Industrial System of Heze City in Shandong Province Is Rapidly Taking Shape

Recently, a press conference was held in Heze City, Shandong Province. When introducing the progress of building a green, low-carbon, and high-quality development pilot zone, a relevant official from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission stated that the modern industrial system in Heze is taking shape at an accelerated pace.

High-end chemical industry capacity expansion and upgrading projects are progressing, with Dongming Petrochemical's 5,000 Tons/year Vinyl Polyolefin Elastomer Pilot Project and other chain extension and strengthening initiatives completed and put into operation. Key projects, such as the 300,000-ton UPC Sci-tech Trial Project, the New Olefin Material Sci-tech Demonstration Project, and the 200,000-ton Risun Nylon 66 Project, are being accelerated. Throughout the year, high-end chemical enterprises above the designated size achieved an operating revenue of 122.38 billion yuan.

The biomedicine industry is strengthening its chain clusters. The coordinated development framework of "one port, four parks, and multi-point support" continues to deepen. The Modern Medicine Port has signed 12 new projects this year, bringing the total to 58 signed projects with a combined investment exceeding 16 billion yuan. The "Eight Major Projects" for the revitalization of traditional Chinese medicine are being implemented, with the annual transaction volume of the Shunwangcheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Wholesale Market surpassing 10 billion yuan.
