Amid a complex and fluctuating external environment with increasing developmental challenges, new forms of foreign trade have become a pivotal force in stabilizing Shandong's foreign trade growth. In the first quarter, data from the customs cross-border e-commerce management platform indicated that the province's cross-border e-commerce B2B direct exports surged by 71.1%, reaching 29.83 billion yuan. Meanwhile, market procurement exports rose by 12.5%, amounting to 21.81 billion yuan. New forms of foreign trade are accelerating integration with industrial development, driving the high-quality development of foreign trade across the province.
Currently, Shandong is making significant efforts to help foreign trade enterprises expand their presence in the domestic market. From mid-May to late June, the province plans to host the "2025 Shandong Foreign Trade Premium Products Shopping Season" to fully support foreign trade enterprises in broadening sales channels such as domestic exhibitions and e-commerce. Additionally, from May to December, it will regularly organize premium product showcases at major exhibitions and implement the "six entries" campaign for foreign trade premium products.
