Jinan Start-up Area Plans Its Development in Emerging Industries

On the fourth anniversary of the State Council's approval of the Implementation Plan for Establishing the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation, Jinan Start-up Area presented a four-year report highlighting its progress.

Since its establishment, Jinan Start-up Area has planned and strategically promoted the development of a modern industrial system that emphasizes ecological protection and new urban construction. It has identified "3+1" leading industries: new generation of information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and materials, and high-end services. By attracting leading enterprises, fostering emerging industries, and developing supportive platforms, Jinan Start-up Area has created a new model for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. This model includes a new energy vehicle enterprise, three green battery manufacturers, and five parks.

While continuing to strengthen and expand the pillar industry of new energy vehicles, Jinan Start-up Area is planning its development in emerging industries. In the high-end new energy equipment manufacturing sector, it aims to establish a tiered development structure that includes accelerated ramp-up of solar photovoltaic production capacity, hydrogen energy leading projects, and pilot projects and mass production of perovskite photovoltaic cells.
