Shandong Makes AI Breakthroughs to Build a Solid Computing Power Foundation

In recent years, the scale of computing power in Shandong Province has grown steadily. Based on national-level Internet backbone direct connection points, Jinan and Qingdao have built two core areas of low-latency data centers.

Recently, the Jinan Artificial Intelligence Computing Center project passed the completion acceptance. The project has a computing power scale of 1030PFlops, with the ability to provide computing power, data, algorithms and services throughout the entire chain. It has now provided computing power services to leading technology companies, scientific research institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises, and will provide strong support for the development of the local artificial intelligence industry.

The Qingdao Artificial Intelligence Computing Center is the first of its kind in Shandong Province. Upon completion, the first phase has a computing power of 100PFLOPS. The Center has cooperated with more than 300 companies, universities and research institutions such as Haier, Hisense, and Ocean University of China to provide strong computing power support for smart oceans, safe cities, smart transportation, industrial quality inspection, smart manufacturing, smart electricity and other fields.
