Recently, the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Shandong Province issued the Shandong Province Comprehensive Rural Revitalization Plan (2025-2027), effectively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the creation of a higher-quality Shandong model.
The Plan follows the overall approach of "regional coordination, belt demonstration, and breakthrough at key points", aiming to build a rural revitalization regional layout of "four zones, three belts, and multiple points". The "four zones" refer to the four major areas: Jiaodong, Central Shandong, Southern Shandong, and Western Shandong. The "three belts" include the ecological protection and development belt along the Yellow River, the cultural heritage and utilization belt of the Grand Canal, and the integrated coastal and land development belt. This approach emphasizes a balanced focus on both development and protection, as well as coordinated efforts between land and sea, to create distinctive rural revitalization corridors. The "multiple points" refer to various agricultural industrial parks and key areas like Nansi Lake and Dongping Lake, focusing on developing unique features and strengthening innovation leadership to form a multifaceted support structure for rural revitalization.
