Shandong: Special Action Launched to Support the Sports Industry with Finance

In recent years, the total scale of Shandong's sports industry has exceeded 500 billion yuan, with more than 60,000 market entities. Led by the "Haoyun Shandong" sports brand, Shandong is vigorously developing the event economy and promoting sports consumption.

After the release of the Opinions on Financial Support for the Sports Industry's High-Quality Development, Shandong Province has taken the lead and included 3,000 sports companies in the list to access financial services, tailored financing plans for them, and raised 1.6 billion yuan to meet financing needs. In 2025, the list will be upgraded to a "sports industry whitelist" to strengthen policy guidance and resource allocation. In addition, the provincial sports department will also work with financial institutions to release differentiated financial products such as "Loan for Sports Events," "Loan for Sci-tech Innovation," and "Loan for Talent." A series of financial subsidy policies will be launched to boost sports consumption and make finance a powerful engine for promoting the sports industry's development.
