Dongying District Develops Low-altitude Economy Based on Local Unique Industries and People's Livelihood Needs

In recent years, Dongying District has proactively aligned with the national call for fostering the low-altitude economy. Focusing on local characteristic and advantageous industries such as petroleum and chemicals and people's livelihood needs, the district has significantly broadened the application scenarios of the low-altitude economy.

In urban governance, the district integrates automated drone inspections with targeted manual inspections. In emergency response operations, low-altitude aircraft are employed for their swift response capabilities and ability to navigate terrain challenges to perform tasks such as fire reconnaissance, material transport, and rescue information dissemination.

To further propel the development of the low-altitude economy, Dongying has beefed up efforts in industrial planning. By relying on the Dongying High-Tech Zone, the district has worked to build a low-altitude economy industrial park and attract relevant enterprises to foster an industrial agglomeration effect. Simultaneously, by utilizing the comprehensive logistics park currently under construction in the central urban area, the district has planned a low-altitude logistics park to explore an innovative smart logistics model that integrates drones, unmanned vehicles, and unmanned warehouses.
