Shandong: Six Enterprises Rank Among Top 10 of Industry's Top 100! Modern Light and Textile Industries Speed up Their Upgrades

The light and textile industries in Shandong have traditional strengths and are vital to people's livelihoods. These industries include sectors such as textiles and clothing, paper manufacturing, furniture, and sports goods. The CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Shandong Province place significant emphasis on the light and textile industries, placing modern light and textile industries among the "top 10" sectors in the initiative to replace old growth drivers with new ones. They are intensifying policy support to decisively advance industrial transformation and upgrading.

Currently, six enterprises such as Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group are among the top 10 in China's top 100 cotton textile enterprises. Additionally, four enterprises such as Luthai Group rank among the top 10 of China's top 30 printing and dyeing enterprises. Enterprises such as Sun Paper have secured positions in the top 20 of China's paper industry, leading the nation in terms of quantity. The province has cultivated 24 key textile and clothing brands recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, ranking it second nationwide in terms of quantity. It boasts over 30 national-level industrial clusters such as Binzhou's textile industrial clusters, Jimo's children's wear industrial clusters, Weihai's fishing tackle industrial clusters, and Ningjin's fitness equipment industrial clusters. These regional brands are becoming increasingly influential.
