Recently, the China (Shandong)–Japan Inbound Tourism Exchange Meeting was held in Qufu, Shandong Province. This event aims to explore new pathways for inbound tourism cooperation through thematic promotions, on-site inspections, and in-depth discussions.

During the event, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism highlighted tourism products such as "Climbing Mount Tai and Paying Tribute to Confucius." Jining City focused on the World Cultural Heritage sites of the "Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion" and the Grand Canal, meticulously launching distinctive tourism offerings such as the "Confucian Culture Study Tour" and the "Ancient Canal Charm Tour," showcasing the profound cultural heritage and rich tourism resources of "Hometown of Confucius, Friendly Shandong."

This event effectively bridged the supply and demand chains of the Chinese and Japanese inbound cultural tourism markets through "precise promotion + pragmatic matchmaking + in-depth experience," providing a platform for direct communication and cooperation between the two parties. Multiple Chinese and Japanese travel agent representatives have reached preliminary cooperation intentions, injecting new momentum into the cooperative development of the tourism industry between the two regions. Before and after the exchange meeting, a group of Japanese travel agents conducted on-site inspection tours in Shandong, visiting places such as Qingdao, Linyi, and Zibo.
