The 1st in Shandong! Jinan AI Computing Power Center Officially Launched

The Expert Symposium on Jinan Artificial Intelligence Industry Development was held a few days ago. An expert panel led by Zheng Weimin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor of the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, unanimously concluded that the Jinan AI Computing Power Center successfully passed the completion acceptance following an on-site inspection. This marks the official commencement of operations for the Jinan AI Computing Power Center, the first high-performance intelligent computing power cluster in Shandong Province to reach exascale computing power.

The high-performance intelligent computing power cluster is situated within the National Supercomputing Center In Jinan, boasting a computing power of 1,000 petaflops. The project is dedicated to building a "one-stop AI service center" that provides comprehensive support, including computing power, data, algorithms, and related services.

In recent years, Jinan has aggressively pursued a digital economy development strategy, achieving significant advancements in digital economy, digital infrastructure, and the digital economy industry. Last year, the city ranked seventh in China for its scale of intelligent computing power.
