Weihai, Shandong: Supporting Entrepreneurs with Comprehensive Startup Services

Weihai City in Shandong Province has committed to walking alongside entrepreneurs throughout their journey, actively creating a comprehensive service chain encompassing "financing, training, guidance, and nurturing". The city's entrepreneurial ecosystem continues to optimize, providing not only financial support such as entrepreneurship guarantee loans but also closely addressing the needs of entrepreneurs.

In 2024, Weihai continued to implement policies supporting secondary and tertiary startup loans. For individuals and small and micro enterprises that demonstrate strong repayment behavior, job creation capability, and promising projects, the city supported applications for a total of RMB 320 million in second and third entrepreneurship guarantee loans, significantly aiding entrepreneurs in their rapid growth.

To be a reliable backbone for entrepreneurs, the Weihai municipal human resources and social security departments have established a three-tier entrepreneurial guidance system comprising "entrepreneurial mentors, mentor studios, and grassroots entrepreneurial consultants". This system provides answers to entrepreneurs’ questions and offers project development solutions, receiving positive feedback from startup enterprises.
