Shandong Launches 1,006 Major Projects with a Total Investment of 1,042.7 Billion Yuan

Recently, 1,006 major projects have commenced construction in Shandong Province, with a total investment of 1,042.7 billion yuan. Among these, 635 projects are funded by private enterprises, totaling an investment of 554.1 billion yuan, representing more than half of both the total number of projects and the total investment volume.

It is reported that in 2025, Shandong plans to develop 15,000 key projects with a total investment of 14.6 trillion yuan. This round of projects covers fields such as new generation of information technology and high-end equipment manufacturing, with an average single investment exceeding 1 billion yuan and 13 projects each with over 5 billion yuan. These projects are notable for their substantial investment, high technological content, and significant driving force. The completion of these projects will significantly boost Shandong's green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

As per reports, Shandong has made coordinated efforts to promote the construction of key projects at provincial, municipal, and county levels in recent years, with an average annual investment exceeding 2.8 trillion yuan. This has strongly supported steady growth and quality enhancement of the economy.
