Shandong Province Issues an Action Plan to Deepen Its Integration with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta Regions

Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province issued the Action Plan for Shandong Province to Deeply Implement the Strategy for Coordinated Regional Development and Strengthen Integration with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta Regions (2025-2027). In accordance with the Action Plan, Shandong will dedicate efforts to elevate synergistic development capacities with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Yangtze River Delta. By 2027, a regional collaborative innovation framework is projected to take initial shape, integrated industrial development will witness sustained advancements, and cross-regional cooperation is set to yield substantial outcomes.

In terms of collaboratively fostering the development of new quality productive forces, they will jointly build and share high-level sci-tech innovation platforms, undertake major technological breakthroughs together, promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and encourage cross-regional talent cooperation.

Shandong will strengthen collaboration with the National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center, accelerate the construction of the Jinan-Qingdao Sci-Tech Innovation and Manufacturing Corridor and the Qilu Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor, and co-establish R&D and pilot test bases as well as achievement transformation bases with the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science & Technology Innovation Valley. Shandong will tap into innovation resources more thoroughly, leverage the role of the Beijing-Shandong Integration Center, build a top-tier team of technology managers, and ensure precise technology matchmaking.
