Binhai District: Expanding Its "Circle of Friends" Through Chain-based Investment Attraction

Adhering to the strategy of "revitalizing and enhancing the district through industry", Binhai District leverages its existing industrial base to develop three leading industries: new pharmaceuticals, new materials, and new energy. It actively utilizes the superior resources of leading local enterprises such as Shandong Haihua Group Co., Ltd. and Rainbow Agro., as well as Zhejiang-based enterprises like Zhejiang NHU Co., Ltd. and Guobang Pharmaceutical Group Co, Ltd., to build industrial chains and rely on them to attract investors and seek new friends. The final purpose is to attract large and strong enterprises to drive the development of industrial clusters. In 2024, through chain-based investment attraction, the district signed 60 projects, each worth over RMB 100 million, providing new momentum for high-quality development.

With significant advantages in its industrial foundation, resources, and business environment, Binhai District has formed distinctive industrial clusters. Based on these clusters, the district continuously makes its industrial chain-based investment attraction efforts more precise. It conducts detailed studies on the current state of key industries and clarifies the relationships between products, raw materials, and markets in each industrial chain using the method of "dissecting a sparrow" (analyzing a typical case). Focusing on the needs of industrial and enterprise development, Binhai District closely monitors the whole industrial chain to extend its goal from gathering raw material enterprises to attracting end-product manufacturing businesses.
