Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province released a list of the first 18 provincial-level pilot intelligent computing cloud service centers to promote the construction of a "1+N" industrial intelligent computing cloud service system.
The pilot centers all have a computing power scale of more than 100 PFLOPS, equivalent to the computing power level of 500,000 computers. Therefore, large model R&D enterprises can effectively solve the past supply-demand mismatch problem and rationalize the price of computing power. In addition to providing large-scale and stable computing resources, from data preparation to model training, testing and launching, many training grounds are also building an assembly line for large-model production.
Take the National Supercomputing Center in Jinan as an example. Relying on the platform and resource advantages of Shandong Computing Network, it provides full life-cycle platform-based services throughout model design, training, application and implementation. Up to now, 115 large models have been trained and registered.
