Luxi New Area in Heze, Shandong Province, stands as one of the four provincial-level new areas in Shandong. Serving as the primary arena for the city's economic advancement, the area has consistently adhered to the strategy of "industrial prosperity and manufacturing strength" over the years.

Luxi New Area has expedited the development of a "221" modern industrial cluster with distinctive features. Utilizing platforms like Heze Modern Medical Port and leading firms such as Shandong Buchang Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., it has made a concentrated effort to cultivate a comprehensive biopharmaceutical industrial cluster, with a strong emphasis on traditional Chinese medicine. Anchored by companies like Jing-Jin Electric Technologies (Heze) Co., Ltd. and Shandong Zhongjie Special Equipment Co., Ltd., efforts are underway to foster industrial clusters in specialized sectors such as new energy power and rail transit components. By leveraging leading enterprises like Haixi Energy Storage Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. and Shandong Haichen Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., the area has worked hard to swiftly enhance the upstream and downstream industry chain support for lithium battery equipment, energy control systems, and energy storage battery PACK, with the goal of establishing a complete lithium battery industrial chain, excluding electrolytes. Furthermore, the area has accelerated the planning and layout of future industries, concentrating on emerging fields such as 5G technology applications and artificial intelligence.
