The Coverage Rate of Digital Transformation Among Industrial Enterprises Above Designated Size in Shandong Will Reach 94% This Year

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province recently released the key points of digital transformation in the manufacturing industry empowered by industrial internet in the province in 2025. This year, Shandong will improve the functional system for industrial internet regarding "network, platforms, identification, data and security" and optimize the whole-process service covering "evaluation, diagnosis, scenario cultivation, transformation, demonstration, popularization and upgrading" for digital transformation. It will strengthen and implement digital transformation with unified standards around the industrial chain, so as to realize efficient collaboration among industrial chain-based enterprises in research, development, design, production, manufacturing, operation, management and other links.

Furthermore, Shandong will select benchmark enterprises for digital transformation as a point-based strategy. In combination with key tasks such as large-scale equipment renewal and new technological transformation, it will implement a number of digital technology transformation projects, cultivate a group of digital workshops, 5G factories, intelligent factories and leading digital enterprises, and support national-level digital transformation benchmark enterprises such as newly selected leading digital enterprises in accordance with relevant regulations.
