Jinan, Shandong: Strengthening New Competitive Advantages with Project Construction Effectiveness

Project construction is the "lifeline" and "ballast stone" for local economic and social development. 2024 is the "year of project deepening" for Jinan, with a number of new projects changing the industrial structure and enhancing people's livelihood.

The year 2025 was designated by the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee as the "Year of Project Promotion", which is the third consecutive year that Jinan has taken project construction as its annual work theme. First of all, we should comprehensively improve the quality of planning and construction. Focusing on the needs of the country, Jinan's ability and future direction, we should improve the "four-library connection" system of planning and reserve project library, implementation project library, under-construction project library and post evaluation project library. Throughout the year, 12 projects with an investment of more than 10 billion yuan and 183 projects with an investment of more than 1 billion yuan will be implemented. Focusing on the four leading industries and ten landmark industrial chain clusters, we will plan and implement a number of chain owner-driven, chain supporting and chain cluster upgrading projects to speed up the construction of BYD Phase II Vehicle Project, AIKO Solar Cell Project and other industrial projects.
