50 Cases Selected as Exemplary Applications of AI Large Models in Shandong

To summarize and promote exemplary applications and best practices of AI large models, and to further advance the high-quality development of Shandong's AI large model industry, 50 cases have been identified as exemplary applications of AI large models in Shandong Province. These include cross-industry and cross-scenario innovative applications based on COSMO-GPT and intelligent manufacturing innovative applications in the chemical sector using the supercomputing Lingxi large model.

Over the past year, Shandong has formulated Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the High-Quality Development of the Large Model Industry, which is the nation's first provincial-level document of its kind, and developed the Ecosystem Map of the AI Large Model Industry in Shandong Province (2024). The annual business revenue of large model enterprises within the province's key monitoring scope is expected to exceed 3 billion yuan. Currently, Shandong is accelerating the creation of foundational large models with significant international influence and is nurturing a batch of industry-level and scenario-level large models with broad coverage and high product efficiency in key areas and critical links.
