Shandong: Accelerate the Cultivation of New Quality Productive Forces to Support the Digital Transformation of Provincial-level SMEs

Recently, Shandong released the List of Policies for Promoting Steady and Sound Economic Growth and Improving Quality in 2025, with a significant emphasis on "accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces."

Data indicates that the total computing power of various data centers in the province has reached 9.66E, with intelligent computing accounting for over 30%. It is estimated that for every 1% increase in computing power scale, GDP could grow by 0.2%.  The provincial-level finance department will allocate 30 million yuan in special funds to reward and subsidize application scenarios that purchase AI computing power in Shandong and demonstrate significant empowerment benefits.

Digital transformation is a critical issue for the survival and development of SMEs. The document proposes to support the cultivation of a batch of provincial-level digital transformation guide areas for SMEs, offer up to 10 million yuan in awards and subsidies in accordance with laws and regulations, and focus funds on supporting the construction of new digital infrastructure and innovation carriers, establishment of public service platforms, and cultivation of talent for digital transformation.
