The Optoelectronic and Magnetic Materials Industrial Chain in Yantai, Shandong Has Attracted 56 Advantageous Enterprises

Recently, the Information Office of Yantai Municipal People's Government in Shandong Province held a press conference to introduce the development of the optoelectronic and magnetic materials industrial chain. In 2024, Yantai's optoelectronic and magnetic materials industrial chain incorporated 10 new enterprises, gathering a total of 56 advantageous enterprises including Raytron Technology Co., Ltd., Valiant Co., Ltd., and ZHmag. The industry's output value exceeded 27 billion yuan, becoming a crucial driver for the city's innovative development.

Regarding industrial zone development, five industrial zones have been built and put into operation, including the Optoelectronic Sensing Industrial Zone, Taixin Power Semiconductor Industrial Zone, Yinuo Electronics Semiconductor Materials Industrial Zone, Dongyi Optoelectronic Industrial Park, and Jinbao Electronic Materials Industrial Zone. These industrial zones have attracted high-tech enterprises and institutions such as Jiagang Electronics and Ruici New Materials, achieving a total revenue of 5.72 billion yuan in 2024.

For platform development, a National Micro-Nano Manufacturing Innovation Center has been approved in Yantai, marking Yantai's breakthrough in establishing a national innovation center. The city has gathered 45 major innovation platforms and formed a "1+6+N" innovation source system led by the Huang-Bohai New Area Laboratory, empowered by six public service platforms and supported by numerous enterprise innovation platforms.
