Nine Cases from Shandong are Recognized as Typical Cases of Advanced Computing Empowering New Quality Productive Forces

The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently organized a nationwide collection of typical application cases. After the recommendations from local industry and information technology authorities, expert reviews, and online public announcements, 73 typical application cases of advanced computing empowering new quality productive forces have been identified. Among them, nine cases from Shandong, including an energy centralized control management platform based on cloud-edge-terminal-intelligence integration and a power grid operation and maintenance management system based on AI and digital twin technology, have been selected.

It was learned that the theme of this collection was empowering new quality productive forces with advanced computing. Focusing on key software and hardware products including artificial intelligence chips, servers, storage devices, and essential software, it aimed to select a number of typical cases with advanced technological levels, outstanding innovation capabilities, and good application results across three major fields: traditional industries, emerging industries, and future industries. The numbers of cases selected from Shandong in the traditional industries, emerging industries, and future industries were 5, 2, and 2, respectively.
