Shandong Thoroughly Implements the Strategies of "Invigorating Shandong through Talent" and "Boosting Healthcare with Talent"

Currently, Shandong is continuously developing a first-class talent ecosystem and systematically optimizing various talent development support policies.

Shandong is a powerhouse in healthcare and provides fertile ground for the growth of medical and healthcare services. Shandong Province has been named China's first and currently the only demonstration province for the integration of medical care and elderly care. It is among the first batch to receive approval for the construction of a national demonstration zone for the comprehensive reform of traditional Chinese medicine and a grassroots healthcare comprehensive reform pilot zone. The development of the "Internet + healthcare" demonstration province has yielded remarkable results. Meanwhile, Shandong is the only place where the National Health Medical Data North Center operates as a tangible entity in China.

At present, there are six academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with over 1,100 national-level and provincial-level professionals in the medical field across the province. Additionally, 15 individuals have been announced as part of the first intake for the National High-level Medical Talent Program. For three consecutive years, the introduction of doctorate holders by medical and healthcare institutions at all levels has increased by 15%. More than 2,000 high-level healthcare professionals have received the "Shandong Huicai Card", providing robust support for building a healthy Shandong.
