103 Large Model Enterprises in Shandong Earns over 2.48 Billion Yuan from Q1 to Q3

In the first three quarters of 2024, the development of the large model industry in Shandong Province accelerated, with a faster pace in application and a rapid growth in revenue. During the period, 103 large model enterprises under the province's key monitoring achieved a total revenue of 2.485 billion yuan from their large model business, up 176.7% year on year, securing an annual revenue forecast of more than 3 billion yuan, according to the data recently released by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province.

In terms of the geographical distribution of large model enterprises in the province, both Jinan and Qingdao enjoy a leading role. When it comes to the development pattern, the province follows a two-pronged approach. It has encouraged local enterprises to develop large models such as the Inspur Hairuo Industry Large Model. Meanwhile, it has also introduced enterprises from outside the province to launch large models such as the Guoshi Hanhai Xingyun Large Model.

Large models have seen widespread application in industrial fields, which is largely because of Shandong's status as an industrial powerhouse in the country. Besides industrial fields, large models have also been widely used in the field of public welfare. Relying on Shandong's strong industrial foundation and rich application scenarios, large model products are being used in more and more industrial fields and specific scenarios.
