To vigorously implement the upgrading strategy of the Pilot Free Trade Zone and establish a demonstration zone for institutional opening-up, the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province recently issued the Notice on Replicating and Promoting 38 Institutional Innovation Achievements of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The aim is to replicate and promote a new batch of 38 institutional innovation achievements of the Zone throughout the province.
The 38 institutional innovation achievements to be replicated and promoted are divided into two categories. One category is characterized by strong innovation, effective implementation, and low replication and promotion costs. Such achievements will be replicated and promoted as reform pilot experiences throughout the province. In total, there are nine such achievements including the reform of facilitating the vehicle export trade, the reform of integrating the approval procedures for sea use, and the data intellectual property pledge financing models. The other category refers to the innovation achievements that show excellent system integration, demonstration significance, and timeliness. Totaling 29, they will be used as best practice cases for all places in the province to learn from, including the reform of facilitating the customs clearance for imports of medicine and food homologous products, new service model for offshore international trade, and new supervision mode of the aircraft maintenance industry.
