China-ROK Investment Cooperation and Technology Conference Held in Yantai Huang-Bohai Sea New Area

Recently, the China-ROK Investment Cooperation and Technology Conference was successfully held in the Yantai Huang-Bohai Sea New Area. The event was sponsored by the Korea Innovation Foundation (INNOPOLIS) and co-organized by Dong-Eui University and Dongseo University. Over 20 universities, research institutes, and enterprises from Yantai participated in the conference.

The projects presented by the delegation from the Republic of Korea (ROK) at this event originated from entrepreneurial platforms led by professors from Dong-Eui University and Dongseo University, with special support from the ROK government. These projects spanned various domains, including artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, genetic testing, the metaverse, virtual reality, and medical devices.

President Kim Seong-Keun, the ROK delegation leader, said that the technical exchanges between China and the ROK are rich in content and diverse in cooperation fields. He hoped that with the help of the diversified platforms provided by Yantai Huang-Bohai Sea New Area, more enterprises from the ROK can come to Yantai, understand Yantai, and achieve win-win cooperation with local enterprises in Yantai.
