In the Jinan Innovation Zone, a power equipment industrial chain is gradually taking shape, driven by leading enterprises. It is learned that large and medium-sized power grid equipment enterprises, such as Shandong Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment Co., Ltd., SDEE Hitachi High Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd., China Electrical Equipment Shandong Electronics Co., Ltd., CRRC Shandong Wind Power Co., Ltd., and Shandong Aipel Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., have been set up in Jinan Innovation Zone. A relatively complete industrial chain of power equipment has been built here, covering power generation, transmission, dispatching, transformation, distribution, storage, utilization, control, intelligent terminals, and other industrial links, serving as an influential intelligent transmission and distribution manufacturing base and technology R&D center in China.

The power equipment industry in the Jinan Innovation Zone is moving towards high-end, intelligent, and green development. Looking ahead, the Jinan Innovation Zone will enhance collaborative innovation in key technologies within the industry, address existing weaknesses, and engage in targeted investment attraction.
