Ten Cities Including Qingdao to Pilot Integrated Application of "5G+ Industrial Internet"

At the recently opened 2024 China 5G+ Industrial Internet Conference, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released the list of pilot cities for the integrated application of "5G+ industrial Internet" in 2024. The first 10 cities on the list are Nanjing, Wuhan, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Shanghai, Ningbo, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Chengdu.

It is reported that these cities will give full play to the advantages of new technologies, facilities, scenarios, models and business forms of "5G+ industrial Internet". The objective is to closely cater to the intelligent, green and integrated development of local industries, and build an industrial cluster and innovation ecosystem of "5G+ industrial Internet" that can drive national and regional development.

The industrial Internet is an important carrier for connecting people, machines and things, and opening the main channel for information transmission, thus continuously consolidating the foundation for the development of the digital economy.
